Numerous active
farms, many owned by Amish families, can be found in Chesterhill and the
surrounding area. Robin Horner, a member of the Union Hall Restoration and
Education Committee, felt that Chesterhill needed a Farmers' Market and knew
that Union Hall Theater needed financial support. So, with a little help from
her family, she started the Chesterhill Farmers' Market and donated all proceeds
to Union Hall Theater. The Market takes place on Rt 377 at the south end of town.
